Which one is the best? Preferably running Linux and is easy to telnet into.

I'm not sure which one was originally used with the coffee script, but I'd assume any coffee maker with smart home integration would be pretty easy to get into.

I recommend the Mr. Coffee Smart Coffeemaker.

The coffee mechine should support the protocol "Hyper Text Coffee Pot Control Protocol", haha.
