Adjustable camera positions and parameters in software.

Is there a reason why instant-ngp does not allow adjustments to camera positions and their parameters inside the software? To me this would seem like a no-brainer to make refinements to the transforms.json visually inside the software but how it is at the moment we must close the software, edit a transforms.json file, and then re-launch the software which is a really laborious process.
