Context:-

I had been facing this issue since quite some time, and felt this was my environment's problem but recently I found out how to reproduce this issue and I think that this might be a bug.

Setup:-

  • Community Server version: 12.1.1194
  • Type of installation of Workspace (docker, deb/rpm, exe): exe
  • OS: Windows Server 2016
  • Browser version: Firefox 109.0 (64-bit)

Reproducing Steps:-

  1. Install OnlyOffice Workspace Community Edition using the .exe file from here
  2. Right-click to select “Computer” and then select “Properties”. In the window that opens, select the option “Advanced system settings”. Now, select “Computer name” in the dialog window before selecting “Change” to rename your computer.
  3. Restart the system.

You will see the following issue appeared:-

If you open any document for editing:

doc-editing-nw-1

doc-editing-console

doc-editing-nw-2

Or if you try opening control panel:

control-panel-nw
control-panel-console

Resolution:-

  1. Go to start menu
  2. Launch RabbitMQ (re) install application

I hope this issue is resolved as soon as possible. Thanks.

Hello @NaufilAsar Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I can confirm the issue (bug 61461 on our internal bug tracker). We will fix this in one of the next releases.
