Feature Request: Count emails and urls as single word

Can there be an option to count an email address or web address as just 1 word? Currently, the following email is 5 words:

First.M.Last@College.edu
www.College.edu has 3 words.

I am counting on wordcount for analyzing words-per-page on a newsletter I edit, and this behavior is really inflating the counts on some of my content. But thanks so much for creating this package, it is a huge help!
