well, this is blocking the delivery of our new designs; the problem remaining is that we have the old way implemented and will break the web by changing that, but not an issue w/o a good solution already in mind… |

the mysterious source of the mysterious error/bug has been identified (more explained at review comment URL linked);
correction may be simply to not communicate w/ double-dashes in our filenames…
