CTL-472 randomly shift clicking on mac m1 (im dumb sry)

Steps to Reproduce

nothing... i don't know, its random
im on macos sonoma (all versions do this) on a base m1
this all started in the update in december (v0.6.4.0) and only worsened in a dev build sort of thing that added support for an eraser, pressure and other stuff which i really want to use :(

Expected Behavior

not this, anything i try will not fix/alter this

Observed Behavior

my tablet randomly decides "screw you!" and acts as if im holding my shift key down and only affects clicks, it lasts from 3 seconds to a whole minute

it starts opening the file location of apps
clicking on someones name in discord wont load their profile but instead @ them
trying to draw (in krita atleast) will start messing with my brush size and not draw
clicking a link (in safari atleast) opens it in a new tab
real annoying stuff

like yeah my shift key is being held down, if i click any of these things while it's not glitching and my actual shift key is being pressed, the same things happen
sometimes pressing/mashing shift on my keyboard will make it stop earlier
no it is not affecting things like commands (stuff like command + Q), just the pen, my letters aren't being capitalised
also what's funny is that setting one of my pen buttons to shift doesn't even work, the only time i've seen it have an effect was when hovering over a discord message where it gave me options to mark as unread or copy user ID but maybe that's expected
i really hope this is clear...

anyway uh i don't want to make another post so ill just put it here, my area is a bit scuffed but it doesn't matter
l try to put at 126.16 and 63.08
