This replaces the
premergetask with a git command.The main intention behind this change is to make our logs more understandable. Anybody who uses git should be able to understand what this diff means. The diff says what files changed and by how much. The below line then summaries everything and below that we explain why these changes occurred and how to fix it.
While the command itself isn't a beauty to look at, its output is simple and understandable.
