Subscribe to the ProtoSchool newsletter for local leadership updates

As part of ProtoSchool's new local leadership model, we're transitioning our communication with local organizers (@ProtoSchool/chapter-organizers) away from GitHub and into an email newsletter.

If you haven't yet done so, please subscribe to our newsletter now, checking the box to receive local leadership updates. These targeted, occasional emails will include tips on hosting events, presentation resources, info on any new swag, etc.

Note: If you've already submitted an event for inclusion on our website, you've been subscribed to local leadership updates as part of that process and don't need to visit this signup form.

Those who subscribe without checking the box will only receive updates on new tutorial content and site features -- information that's relevant to our online learners, event attendees, and local organizers alike. If you're in contact with your workshop attendees between events, you can encourage them to subscribe as well. In fact, we expect to send out our first content update through the newsletter this week, so now's a great time to get on the list!

@ProtoSchool/chapter-organizers I'm pleased to announce that you can now access the signup form for our newsletter right on our website at https://proto.school/#/news. Please check the box to ensure you receive local leadership updates, which will replace our communication through GitHub issues as we move away from requiring GitHub for our local leaders.

We'd also love for you to share this new signup link at your events so that attendees can stay up to date as well. Those who don't check the box for leadership updates will receive emails only when we launch new tutorials or major site features.
