Proposal to Introduce PostgreSQL Support to Sequel-Ace

Sequel-Ace is a powerful and intuitive tool, widely recognized for its MySQL/MariaDB database management capabilities on macOS.

However, I believe that the scope of Sequel-Ace can be significantly broadened by introducing PostgreSQL support. In doing so, it would cater to a wider developer community and bolster its competitive advantage. As of 2023, PostgreSQL remains a highly competitive open-source Database Management System (DBMS) in the tech industry, alongside MySQL and others. By integrating PostgreSQL support into Sequel-Ace, we can tap into this vast user base and cater to their database management needs.

I propose creating a dedicated branch on the repository to develop and integrate PostgreSQL support into Sequel-Ace. This will ensure a focused and coordinated effort towards achieving this objective, without affecting the ongoing work on the main branch.

I am willing to contribute to this endeavor and believe that a dedicated team working on this branch would ensure a thorough and efficient development process. The team would be responsible for the following:

• Research and understand the requirements and specifications needed to integrate PostgreSQL into Sequel-Ace.
• Develop the necessary features and perform rigorous testing to ensure quality and performance.
• Continuously integrate and deliver updates to the dedicated branch.
• Gather feedback from users and make necessary adjustments based on their needs and expectations.

In conclusion, the addition of PostgreSQL support to Sequel-Ace would not only enhance the software's functionality but also increase its reach in the developer community, potentially attracting new users and contributors to the project.

I absolutely adore Sequel Ace and in a similar vein, would love to not have to switch tools for SQLite databases. I've used a few and they all seem less intuitive than Sequel Ace.
