Habitat has traditionally used v 1.x and was increased by a minor version every time a new version was pushed to master. It would be great if Habitat versions followed the product versions (at least major, minor).

For example, the current Habitat version supporting XP 9.0.2 would be 9.0.2.0, the next update to Habitat would be 9.0.2.1 and so on until the next product release (likely 9.1) at which point Habitat would be version 9.1.0.0 followed by 9.1.0.1.

This would make it easier to figure out which version of the product was supported just by looking at the releases tab.

Another nice-to-have could be to have a version.txt file in the repository that would get deployed to the webRoot. At any point, someone could see which version they're running by looking at the file in the webRoot.
