Full screen video rotates with device orientation even with rotation turned off

Environment

• Device: Motorola G5s Plus
• OS: Android 11
• Version: 1.9.30 (f-droid version)

To reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Turn off auto-rotation in device's system settings
2. Play video in full screen
3. Tilt/rotate the device
4. Video changes between portrait and landscape even with rotation off

Expected behaviour

Video should not rotate when device rotation is turned off

Note

Not sure if this behavior is a bug or intentional, but if intentional, please add option to disable it in the app's settings

I can reproduce this issue on YouTube. By comparison Chromium forces full screen videos in landscape, so it basically disables auto rotate as soon as you go full screen.
