What can we do to make builds at GitHub run faster?

  • Can we use images with pre-installed Java?
What do other, larger Java-based projects do?

  • Can we share artifacts produced by the main build with other workflows?
For example, if build went OK, we don't need to wait for the same artifacts being built for publish.
