When starting the level, run forward just a bit and make a left and turn the camera. The game will usually crash.

Here's the spot it usually crashes before I turn any more left. The spot you're standing may also matter.

MAIN: /home/x5core/TOMB5/EMULATOR/EMULATOR.C:2901: void Emulator_UpdateVertexBuffer(const Vertex*, int): Assertion `num_vertices <= MAX_NUM_POLY_BUFFER_VERTICES' failed.

This is the assert printed on the console.

Same crash occurs on The Base after going down the stairs.
