Does this happen directly on first server addition? or like on reopening the app?

Happens directly and upon re-opening.

I am unable to reproduce this issue on my end, what happens if you try refreshing on the home page? does the refresh indicator also keeps loading?

Refreshing produces the same issue. I managed to capture the error message whilst refreshing though. Not sure how useful it is:

java.util.concurrent.CancellationException: Engine failed

It doesn't always show. Most of the time the app just loads perpetually, without an error message. The app did load torrents the other day - I didn't change anything, just opened the app and it worked. Now it is back to permanent loading though.

My qbit instance runs in a docker container over local network but as it is accessible both via webui and other android applications I don't think the qbit instance is the culprit.

Thanks for the details. I will try to reproduce this with similar setup if possible.

It happened to me too when I tried the app. I would mention that I have over 600 torrents.
