Introduction

Based on recent administrative divisions, there are 753 municipalities in Nepal.

1. Rural Municipalities - 460
2. Municipalities - 276
3. Sub-Metropolitan City - 11
4. Metropolitan City - 6

Format of the dataset

We have created json files for municipality dataset. Both Nepali and English Format Supported.

Each municipality consist of following attributes.

• Unique Identifier (id)
• District (district_id)
• Municipality Category (category_id)
• Municipality Name (name)
• Area in Square Kilometer (area_sq_km)
• URL of Official Website (website)
• Municipality Wards
