It seems that ajv is not able to display its own version in any way, even with ajv help option.

Sorry but using the package manager to display the tool version is not really a valid option, especially as you could have it installed in various ways and places. So far, that is probably the first cli tool I see in more than a decade that fails to display its own version. There were only one or two other cases I ever encountered but they quickly address it.
