As of January 2022, Sucrase has some basic support for the pipeline operator (example), but the spec decisions have not been finalized yet, and work is ongoing at https://github.com/tc39/proposal-pipeline-operator .
There are at least two follow-up tasks to get this working:
#topic references from an older Babel implementation, but it will likely change in the future.Note that actually transpiling the pipeline operator would likely be challenging, so the plan is to instead pass it through so that it's supported as long as the underlying JS engine supports it.
