Transparency Conversion issues #401

Using BIMP (v2.6) with GIMP 2.10.36. When ever I try to convert GIF files with a transparent background to PNG files. With what I'm assuming are default options.

The transparency is removed from the converted image and its background is replaced with a solid white.
