issue comments show as "updated by [opener]"

instead of showing as (some variation of) "commented on by [commenter]" it shows "updated by [opener]"

Thank you 💜 I've noticed it's not fully consistent so idk what the case actually is that causes it... if I can investigate and put together a fix I'll do so. if you wanna close this issue since I'm not 100% sure anymore feel free, can reopen later
