New feature "Query from deep storage" appeared in Druid 27.0.0 as experimental, and now in Druid 28.0.0 it's production ready. Do you plan to support it ?

  1. We don't use Druid 27/28 at Allegro yet but we will test a new version and then upgrade. However I couldn't provide any timelines.
  2. It looks that querying from deep storage uses SQL endpoints. Turnilo uses Druid native queries not SQL so I suspect a lot of work.
  3. Turnilo is a data exploration tool (see manifest in Readme) and requires a few seconds queries latency for a nice user experience. Queries from deep storage might not be as fast.
