Steps to recreate:

  1. Turn on Windows Narrator
  2. Open the examples page in Firefox, Edge, or Chrome.
  3. Tab to a field with autocomplete. Depending on the browser you use, narrator may announce "scan off" to indicate that it is going from scan mode to form mode.
  4. Type a few characters into the box
  5. Press the down arrow to select the first result. On Firefox and Edge, this did select the first result for me, but narrator also announced "scan". On Chrome, this just caused the search results to disappear.
  6. Press the down arrow again. Note that it doesn't select a different country.
  7. Note that enter also doesn't work to confirm selection of a country.

If you press Windows key + Space bar after pressing the down arrow, you can turn scan mode off and use the autocomplete as intended.

I suspect this is a narrator bug, not one with this package. However, I wanted to raise it here in case there is some kind of workaround to make this work in Narrator (without a user having to manually turn off scan mode).
