Vim colors not rendring well #366

Terminal: gnome-terminal v.3.20.2

I am trying to use the solarized theme in Ubuntu 16.10, but for some reason it doesnt render correctly in terminal. Here is an example:

Any help and/or guidance is much appreciated! :)

Try setting let g:solarized_termtrans=1 in your .vimrc.
