Instead of having to add quotes to Beautitab's settings, it'd be amazing if it could pull quotes from the vault somehow. I personally have lots of quotes that I've imported from Kindle Highlights, among others.

Of course, I don't think there's a standardized way to store quotes, so maybe something simple could be possible, like indexing all blockquotes from notes with a certain tag, or something.

Or at least being able to pull quotes from a particular note in the vault.
I second this request!!

I support the request to finalize this feature. I've long been looking for a tool that could remind me of random quotes not from somewhere on the internet, but my own that resonated with me personally.

I'll throw a few thoughts on it. Hopefully they will be helpful.

The tag or tag mask idea looks handy. Admittedly, I'm not entirely familiar with Obsidian's plugin development, and I can't say how complicated it is or whether it would require integration with dataview, for example.

Entering quotes manually is a non-functional feature. Storing all the quotes in one file is not. It is possible to pull from a directory, but then you need a specific format: callout quote/cite or standard quote, but again, everyone has their own methodology for keeping quotes.

Seems like a daunting task))
