Ability to play other sound-containing filetypes as an audio

I am probably asking for something that is either hard or impossible(also a second request in a row, which is quite impolite and needy), since only music player i saw doing this, was AIMP, but if i will not ask, i will never get an answer, and silence is always worse than no

But is it possible, to play other files, containing sound inside this plugin, like mp4, or mkv? I accidentally have most of my music gallery downloaded in mkv, due to wanting to preserve not only an audio, but a video also, in case i will need it, and now i have to deal with most of the audio players not detecting this filetype

To clarify,i understand the plugin is sound-directed, and i dont ask for another obsidian video player, it just would be nice to have an ability to play those files directly from obsidian, not having to open up an entirely different appication
