This is somewhat of a question as well as maybe a request. Volume of water is measured in fl. oz, rather than wt. oz. However, it seems the app if showing "ounces" of water as wt. oz. While the calculations are similar, they are not the same...
1 fl oz water = 29.57 g
1 wt oz = 28.35g
In the app, if I enter 1 oz of water and then switch it to grams, I get 28 rather than 29. 1g might not sound like much, but for larger batches of coffee, it does add up to a fairly sizable difference
Is there any reason we chose not to convert to fl. oz? If this was not intentional, and are open to adding fl oz, I would be happy to put up a PR to add it. This would enable switching water between three conversions: g, wt oz, fl oz
