Does it also happen in the desktop version?

  • This bug does not occur in the latest version of Anki

What are the steps to reproduce this bug?

  1. Go to statistics
  2. Search something in the search bar. Or select collection over deck/all history over last twelve months
  3. Change screen orientation. Screen would rotate.

Expected behaviour

Only screen orientation would change

Actual behaviour

The search options sets back to default.The screen loads once again.

Searching is a pain in landscape mode so IMO changing this behaviour is important.

Research

  • I am reporting a bug specific to AnkiDroid (Android app)
  • I have checked the manual and the FAQ and could not find a solution to my issue
  • (Optional) I have confirmed the issue is not resolved in the latest alpha release (instructions)
