Filter items in legend

Hi guys,

in the tooltip it's possible to filter/customize the items with the "items" property - I'm curious if there's a similar functionality for the legend.
Use case is this: I have 6 data series and therefore 6 items in the legend, but only 3 of them are relevant to the user so I wanna hide the others completly. If this is not manageable directly, is there an workaround?
