In Ux environments the example docker-compose uses kubernetes.docker.internal as a gateway address. This address is used by Docker Desktop as a DNS when it is configured to use kubernetes (it also adds it into the host etc/hosts) and it not available when not using Docker Desktop.
We may try to find an alternative to this configuration and if not possible, make an explicit mention of this setup in the example README.md
