Request to Increase Default Swap Space Size or Allow Manual Configuration for Hibernation #2450

Hello,

I've recently reinstalled Arch Linux and observed that the default swap space allocation is automatically set to 4GB. Currently, there appears to be no option in the installation presets to manually adjust this size.

For systems with RAM exceeding 4GB, like mine, this default swap space size is insufficient for hibernation purposes. The swap space needs to be at least equal to the system's RAM to hibernate successfully. Due to this limitation, I am unable to use hibernation effectively on my setup.

Could we consider either increasing the default swap space size to 16GB or, preferably, providing an option during installation to customize the swap space size according to user needs? This enhancement would greatly benefit users who rely on hibernation, especially those with high RAM configurations.

Thank you for considering this request.
