RFE/C: Mobile Interface #220
Comments
A mobile interface is pretty low priority on the todo list right now. In fact, you're the first person to mention wanting one afaik 😅 To elaborate, organizing GitHub stars just isn't something I'd often find myself doing from a mobile interface. I'm not saying I'll never add one, it's just not really a priority at the moment, because I'm not feeling any personal pain from omitting it. |
@syropian I suppose most of us would assume what I did (from the screenshots): it needs to be hosted someplace, & so is essentially a developer (not end-user) tool. I'd no idea you were hosting it @ all! |
Yep! The option to self-host is there, but the hosted service is by far the most popular option that people lean towards. The marketing site does have 2 CTA's the point towards the hosted option, and the repo includes it in the header and the top of the readme. |
If 1 knows it exists! How 'bout an interim note toward the top of the site someplace:
|
@TPS Hm, to me it seems obvious people know about the hosted option, simply by the amount of activity the app gets. There's links to the GitHub, and Twitter on the marketing site and app if people want to file issues regarding mobile. It just isn't something that's come up. |
Per @syropian @ vfeskov/gitpunch#51 (comment),
This request is to do so, on some level.
