Get virtual clocks in more tests

In an attempt to flush out any more variable coverage tests (by running coverage reports 1000 times), I've been slowed down by the real time sleeping in TestCachedCloudProviderExpirationAndRefresh. This test has long been bothersome for its unpredictable behavior driven by CPU load, and it would be good to finally deal with it in a predictable fashion.

Also virtual clocks are just great.
