Your idea

When select a clip, I need copy the begin of selection time, e.g. 00h00m25.321s and end of selection time e.g. 00h05m18.112s to be record as a range 00h00m25.321s-00h05m18.112s or short format 25.321s-5m18.112s. When I need cut corresponding video accurately in FFmpeg command line later.

Problem to be solved

I think copy it to clipboard will be better than hand write it down, manually transcribing start/end times is inefficient and error-prone.
It can be a hotkey, or just right click or double click the selection toolbar label. It is best to prompt that the operation has been completed in the system notification bar.

@LWinterberg @petersampsonaudacity is this means this feature request now accepted, and I can submit a pull request to this feature now? Or does this project only accept members themselves to implement features?
