cross-account role CLI access

Hello, I am trying to do some CLI stuff in relation to an account which I can only access via SSO into the main AWS account, into a particular role, then perform a role-switch into a sub-account.

Something like the bottom section of this page https://jamesgalley.com/aws-sub-accounts-and-cross-account-roles
I was wondering if this is supported, and also how to correctly format my config for this using aws-azure-login.
