Deploying docker-compose using CDK

Hey all,

I have a docker-compose.yaml with multiple services like frontend, db, cache, etc that I'd like to deploy to ECS with Fargate & define the infrastructure in CDK. Unfortunately, I am unable to find any resources for deploying a docker-compose to AWS Cloud in general, except for this article which uses the aws CLI though instead of CDK.

My question therefore is, whether it is possible to directly deploy a docker-compose using CDK, or if I have to manually split up the services & basically rebuild the stack in CDK?

You will have to reconstruct your docker-compose file into a CDK application.

GPT appeared quite good in converting compose to CDK by the way. But indeed is not same
