Support for OpenStack #735
Comments
I personally don't use openstack and the PRs I think were for older versions of the gem so they can't be merged. I'm also a bit hesitant nowadays to merge new things as it creates more dependencies for providers not everyone uses. |
This PR target the new version of backup gem : #801 (some conflict need to be solve). |
I'll happily fix the PR if someone is willing to take a look at it. Just ping me.
As a sidenote, my fork with OpenStack support has been used in prod for about 6 months now without any issues so far. |
This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had recent activity. It will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions. |
Hi,
I see a lot of past PRs and issues about OpenStack support that are closed. Is it still in the plan to add to backup gem?
I think a workaround is to use Cloudfiles, but there's some differences between both providers.
Thanks
