Bento

Bento is a suite of microservices that powers clinical/phenotypical and genomic data platform Bento.

List of Bento microservices

  1. Bento v2 - Bento deployments, built with docker.

  2. Bento web - Front end for a single Bento platform node. Written in React using Ant Design components.

  3. Katsu - Metadata service to store clinical/phenotypic data/metadata.

  4. Gohan - Service to store variants data and gene catalogue.

  5. DRS - Data Repository Service (DRS) based on GA4GH's DRS specifications.

  6. Bento WES - Workflow execution service for the Bento platform. This service implements the GA4GH WES API schema with additional Bento-specific features.

  7. Bento drop box service - Service to place (drop) files for ingestion.
