Most servers would respond with a redirect Location: https://domain but many responds with:

Location: https://domain:443

Bettercap wrongly replaces this with

Location: http://domain:443

This will cause the client to wrongly try to open a HTTP (non TLS) connection to port 443.

The expected behaviour is for bettercap to replace the Location with:

Location: http://domain
