BibleUp tries to match all Bible references as much as possible, allowing the use of multiple aliases, abbreviations and formats. This can easily degenerate into quirkiness and difficulty in maintaining the regex because of the need to cover up for all edge cases.
For these reasons, it would be great to implement some citation standards that define:
What references should be considered valid,
How Bible references should or can be cited and
What would be accepted or not.
Resources
A list of probable standards can be found at /docs readme
The list of all currently accepted Book aliases can be found at bible-data.js
Suggestions will be appreciated.
