I couldn't find any benchmark or information about the topic so I ask. I hope it hasn't been discussed already.

I have a raspberry pi 1 and Zero and I have to decide whether buy a pi camera V2 or go for a different system.

What is the maximum resolution and frame rate achievable with the currently available raspberry pis? That means Zero and 4.

My goal is to detect motion, send notifications, record on NFS shares via ethernet or WiFi.

Thanks for your work in general and for the help about this question.
