Hi there,

Thank you for all the work on this project. I has been working great so far. I am looking to see if vendor extensions is something that is supported/can be made to work and/or if it is something that can be added at some point in the roadmap.

Here is what I am talking about:

Great question, I was meaning to open an issue for this :)

Tbh I have not been spending a ton of time up keeping this repo recently, so, if you want to take a stab at implementing this, definitely give it a go.

If I have some free time I'll poke around with it, would be a nice feature to support for 4.0 release

unfortunately, kotlinx serialization does not make serializing arbitrary data very easy... i don't think there is a path for me to do this in V4, without holding up all of the other features while I play with ideas.

So, I'm going to bump this from the V4 release and hopefully come up with a good solution later on.
