React Developer Tools Chrome Extension doesn't work

I've pulled the code, ran it on localhost:8000 then I open chrome developer tool but the React tab doesn't show up. I've confirmed that the React tab does show up on the facebook react site

Going through this project myself right now, seems like only certain pages have been ported to react. Anything in the "views" folder that's mostly an empty HTML doc works with the react extensions
