if the JavaScript lambda syntax weren't so onerous, having a smorgasbord of composable functions to encapsulate common patterns would be nice. I don't like it for work, but perhaps CoffeeScript would make for a better live-coding language.

@capnmidnight Ooh, your comment made me think of adding ES6 support through traceur. Fat arrow syntax would be really nice.
