As reported in canonical/anbox-cloud.io#265 the search returns pages also based on secondary content like text in the footer. This makes no sense, when the same snipped is included in every subpage of a domain.

Ideally, we define regions to be not indexed or ignore when searching. Having a quick glance over the docs at https://developers.google.com/custom-search/docs/element#supported_attributes I couldn't find a quick fix, but maybe there is a way?

Sorry for answering my own question, just found out about data-nosnippet element in HTML https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/robots-meta-tag#data-nosnippet-attr
