Using ansible to provision the BLAST database is a bit stupid given the bandwidth costs. We'd be better using a snapshot or some persistent storage to attach the data directly.

After discussing with Brian, it seems better to switch to S3 for this. Although it's not an exact match, as the file system is different, it's a decent base to at least avoid downloading the big databases.
