Here is my idea:
You pick one of several main forms of dishes/foodtype(stew, soup, panfrying, sandwich, etc. In the grey window in tabs form). Then you pick foodstuff from a list of available comestible(in the blue window, in scroll form) and add them to the dish(red window in list form with arbitrary max comestible items), finally you name your custom dish.
A stats window will display the amount of calories, vitamins, weight, volume, possible allergens(lactose, wheat, mutant meat, etc) and time to cook the dish as you add comestibles to the list.
This will produce a new food item generated with the stats of the food you added, with a morale/enjoyment bonus dependant on cooking level.

What and how would you make a cooking framework for dynamically created dishes(think like in Project Zomboid)?
