DbGate's theming is done through plugins, and plugin installation is best done directly in-app, and that process pulls from NPM rather than just through examining the github repo. I wasn't super sure what the appropriate process is/was for publishing a port to NPM, so I haven't taken any steps towards actually publishing it anywhere.
As such, the installation instructions in the README are currently not quite correct. Happy to collaborate if anything is needed from me on that front of course.
There is the alternative approach of forcing anyone who wants to use the plugin to clone the repo and run npm install && npm run plugin, but I'd guess most will agree that publishing it for direct access through the DbGate plugin manager is preferable. Thanks in advance!
