Hi,
I want to ask how live is the project?
How much time have the maintainers available?
I would like to start using it but there is needed some development and fixes. Because the project doesn't even run against AWS at the moment.

This project appears to only merge Ceph PRs and is hostile to external contributors judging by the graveyard of open PRs, some 8 years old. It is a good base to start from for other projects but I don't even bother rebasing the S3Proxy fork any more. I previously was the most prolific external contributor but now I don't waste my time.
