Some notes from a recent pairing session with @Scotchester:

  • This needs to happen before lerna starts
  • --next-release-from-metadata is not working as expected. It might be related to the item above. Test with verdaccio to see what's up.
  • Manually replace Unreleased with 8.0.2 in the changelog

I did this, but we need to try to figure out the source of the problem where it's not automatically happening.

Roger, --next-release-from-metadata is supposed to take care of that but I have a feeling my sneaky git checkout CHANGELOG.md broke it.
