How to show tooltip within touchscreen?

Hi there,

I am using a touchscreen on a embedded device and after migrating from v2.9.4 to v3.5.1 I am not able to show tooltip as used to show it before.

I only need to show tooltip when user touches any part of the graph. We detect touches with pointerdown and pointerup events. After the library upgrade only the point is hover but the tooltip won't show:

Any new configuration I overlooked or any suggestion to fix this?

Note the TS errors, that is another issue to fix.

That workaround fixes the issue. I'll check in following updates if this has been fixed internally.

After testing the workaround a little bit there is still a problem that did not reproduce in previous version.

When you touch outside graph area, tooltip does not dissapear.

add 'pointerleave' to events and 'mouseleave' to tooltip.events

Still not working as expected. I've added those events and updated the project.

If you Open in new Window and select within devTools iPad Pro for example, there are two issues:

• When you end touching, hover point color dissapears:
  

• Clicking outside the graph NOT always removes the tooltip.

  • In red touches where tooltip IS NOT removed.
  • In green: touches where tooltip IS removed.
