I am not completely sure who to blame for this, but the rendering of Chart.js seems to interfere with the Ionic2/Angular2 system in such a way that the update performance massively degrades. I am pretty sure it is not the rendering itself, but maybe some context switches or other funny things running in the background. I failed to create a fiddler, but I have set up a GitHub repo instead. Would you mind to give it a glance to find out what makes the Chart.js part slow and for Android extremely slow?

Been a long time an a lot of changes. I see this was using 2.2.1 of Chart.js.
Please try a newer version (master preferably), and reopen if issue persists.
